About Liz Pearson

Inspired by the techniques of printmaking and mixed media, I use glass as a blank canvas, layering and printing with enamels to create depth and sometimes tactile surfaces. The process of making is the most important aspect to me, working directly with the materials to see where it takes me and how the piece evolves.

The benefits of creativity in health and well being have been a major influence on my professional practice and as well as developing my own work I provide participatory workshops for community groups, schools and more recently mental health service providers. The main focus is to involve and engage individuals through activities using a variety of materials such as glass, clay, print, collage and journal making to create art that matters.
