Celebration

The Contemporary Crafts Network are celebrating 30 years.

The CCN were formed in 1988 in Lincolnshire with the aim of being a self-supporting exhibiting group and was originally called Lincolnshire and Humberside Contemporary Crafts. Over time the number of members grew and when Lincolnshire and Humberside disbanded as a regional arts board in 1977 this paved the way for the group to broaden its catchment area and rename themselves as the Contemporary Crafts Network.

The group has continued to flourish, encouraging members to learn new techniques and develop their skills, whilst giving them the opportunity to display and sell their work in exhibitions around the country.

Our ‘Celebration’ exhibition includes the unique work of members past and present at the Sam Scorer Gallery, Drury Lane, Lincoln from 14th – 26th August. Come and help us celebrate with a chance to meet the artists on the opening day Tuesday 14th August between 2 – 6pm
